The Magnolia Gala & Auction is the premier annual black-tie event hosted by the Magnolia Giving Grove.

Keynote Speaker

CLAIRE COX

Claire Cox is a wife, mother of nine, and a follower of Christ whose life and work are rooted in a deep commitment to loving and serving children and families. 

In her early twenties, Claire and her husband, Joshua, began fostering, an experience that would shape the course of their lives. Through that journey, they adopted six of their children from foster care, gaining firsthand insight into both the strengths and gaps within the system. What began as a step of faith grew into a lifelong calling to advocate for vulnerable children. 

Today, Claire serves as an adoptions director with Unite Ministries, where she works to mobilize communities to meet the tangible needs of children and families. She has dedicated her efforts to serving children across the state who are legally free for adoption but still waiting for permanent families, working to ensure they are seen, known, and connected to lasting homes. 

In addition to her leadership role, Claire serves as an adoptions ambassador and is  trained in trauma informed care as a TBRI practitioner, equipping her to advocate effectively for children from hard places. In 2025, she was honored with the Congressional Angels in Adoption Award in recognition of her impact and commitment.
Claire’s message is rooted in the belief that advocacy is not simply awareness, but action. Through her voice and leadership, she challenges individuals, communities, and leaders to move beyond intention and step into meaningful, tangible care for children and families.
