The Homegrown Program aims to empower children by equipping them with essential life skills for independent living. By learning practical, everyday tasks such as cooking, budgeting, and home management, residents gain confidence, self-sufficiency, and a greater sense of responsibility. This program bridges the gap between education and real-life applications, preparing youth for successful futures. Click the volunteer button above to sign up!
The Sunset Supper is an outdoor picnic-style meal that takes place on the first Sunday night of each month. Each child in the residential care program is assigned a Magnolia Family member, who is a volunteer or staff member committed to supporting and nurturing that child throughout their time at Magnolia Children’s Group. These family members are part of a supportive network that plays a crucial role in helping foster children feel valued, loved, and encouraged during their stay.
